Superman digs eagles. Almost as much as I dig Superman. I may not talk about him as much as I do the Big Red Cheese but I really like Superman, and nobody ever asks for him in sketches. It’s all “Batman this and Doctor Who that.” It’s just as awful as it sounds.
I have this mental check list for art. One of the most important things, for me, is faces. And Evan draws the most wonderful faces. Look at Superman here…now that’s the man who inspires hope in those around him.
