The Happy Sorceress
Whispering Chimes

From the National Veteran’s Art Museum in Chicago.

24 feet above visitors hang the dog tags of more than 58,000 service men and women who died in the Vietnam War.

Called ‘Above and Beyond’ and designed by Ned Broderick and Richard Stein, the dog tags are suspended 1 inch apart from fine lines that allow them to shift and move with shifting air currents. Museum employees use a laser pointer to help visitors locate the tags of lost friends or relatives.

It’s awesome that they care enough to put up a memorial and it’s very unique.
