target has some a+ super cute ‘super best friends forever’esque merchandise in their little girls’ section. what i love about it are the phrases printed on the shirts -
- girls can change the world
- forever strong
- star power
- friends forever
i hate seeing superhero merch marketed towards girls with the “i need a hero” “i only date superheros” trope while male superhero merch is about “being the hero” so it’s refreshing and fantastic to see positive phrases like these, especially on clothing marketed for younger girls. there’s more than this on the website, and it’s all wonder woman + batgirl + supergirl, but i still love it. forever upset i can’t fit into a girls’ xl because i’m in love with the bottom right friends forever print. may buy it anyway and make a back patch out of it! girls rule! ❤❤❤
Now they just need to make it in ‘ladies’ sizes!
