Diana - Red Carpet Goddess by Des Taylor
ceebee-eebee asked followers to do this. And I think I just might be able to manage (what with this lull between bake sale goods-making and all).
She went with ‘Ten Favorite Shows of All Time’, so I’m doing the same.
1. Wonder Woman - live action
2. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
3. Agatha Christie’s Poirot
4. Homicide: Life on the Street
6. Pushing Daisies
7. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
8. Batman: The Animated Series
9. Justice League/Justice League Unlimited
I did it!
Oh, well. I managed to come up with ten, at least.
Everyone’s free to play!

This has been exploding all over the internet for a week or so.
AND IT’S ALL MY ‘FAULT’.
See, Turhan’s Bey Company picked up this game, thinking it’d be something we - as a family - could play. It’s a Justice League game and you know, you fight bad guys.
Sounds cool, right?
Because when you actually open it up and look at the pieces…it’s all dudes.
DUDES. MEN. NO WONDER WOMAN. Or Black Canary or ANYTHING THAT PASSES AS FEMALE AND A JUSTICE LEAGUER.
And that made me mad.
So, awesome husband that he is, Turhan’s Bey Company said “I can fix it.”
Having been a gamer since long before I knew the term, he was able to assign abilities and weaknesses, powers, whatever to the characters I suggested (trust me, I could easily have rattled off more but this was just to get us started), he made tokens, character sheets, printed and then…we played.
I totally played as Wonder Woman. And Zatanna.
The game itself isn’t great, but at least NOW there’s a (hacked) option of playing as a female hero.
Something DC conveniently (blatantly?) ignores.
And now The Mary Sue and Bleeding Cool have picked up on Peter’s post and well…credit where credit is due. To the awesome fake geek guy I’m married to.
